‘Recently Uptrend Farm & Agriculture shared a photo of an ear tag with “bitch from hell” written on it. It was supposed to be funny. Other farmers proudly chimed in with their own disturbing ear tags, like the one below. They’re all in on the joke because they can relate - it’s frustrating when your commodities are sentient and they fight back against violence.
Cows have been called the Mother Teresa of animals for their gentle, loyal nature. These animals are completely at the mercy of the humans who “own” them. Farming animals is so plainly wrong. When we use them as commodities, we shouldn’t be surprised when they’re treated like commodities. ‘ - [x]Remember, animals feel pain and fear the same way you do. Stop using them and start protecting them. They need you, be their voice.
